Firstly, everyone give yourselves a pat on the back. We survived the 7-week hiatus! And gosh it feels good to have Glee back in our lives. 
Even if we got all angry and red-faced again, it doesn’t matter. Because on the whole we’re just happy to have it back. And well, there was a lot to love in the episode too.

Skins series 6
Wow. So, Skins 6 is over, and you haven’t heard a peep from us re: Skins series 6.
Until now. 601 recap is here:

And basically we’ve been trying to keep our reactions very hush hush because we didn’t want to say how we felt without having the chance to explain.
If you think our S6 recaps are going to resemble any of the lovefest that we’ve had over S5… I’m sorry to say that you’re mistaken. 
By now we’ve all heard about the news of Skins being cancelled. And whilst I wasn’t all that surprised, I have to say I am so thankful for what this show has given me. We really did not see eye to eye at all this series, but S1-5 will always be very special to me, and I will always appreciate the work that everyone has put into this series. You have given us some of the best hours of TV I have ever seen, and I cannot stress enough how happy I am to have discovered this show, even if my current feelings about Skins may indicate otherwise.
p.s. I know of the mysterious ‘series 7′ but I have very mixed feelings about it, if it ever happens.
Sophy says: This is me, seconding the above. I said to Rin earlier as we were finishing up the recap that I really felt the need to make some kind of prefacing apology to Bryan and his team, and she was all ‘Already on it’.
Bryan, Jamie, and every single Skins writer, director and actor etc – basically everyone involved ever including – ESPECIALLY – Ollie Barbieri… you guys have given us some of the most glorious TV we’ve ever gloried in. So whilst we may have some pretty strong opinions about the direction series 6 has taken, we hope you know – we hope the world knows – that Rophy will never not be proud to call ourselves scary, scary fans of Skins.
And yes, series 7, mixed feelings, me too. But you just know that if it involves Naomi and Emily making love on the beaches, Rin will sign on the dotted line.

So, Rin’s been busy. With amazing things.
You may be aware that Rophy have a store where we sell t-shirts made of shiny ridiculous. Well, now Rin is opening another store, housing her various non-rophy designs. Don’t worry, it’s still all about fandom.
The store is called Strings of Colour and currently stocks 4 gorgeous designs inspired by Skins, Veronica Mars, Parks & Recreation and Glee. You can bet there will be many more designs to come.
The lucky @folkpants who won our #HAHlights draw will be receiving a Bunny-Eared Moped shirt, and quite frankly, I’m a bit miffed that she’s getting one before I am.

Great news, you guys!
We have a NEW t-shirt design up in the RophyDoes Store!
This design was actually prompted by someone named Brooke (Hi!) who emailed us saying we should make a tshirt from one of Sophy’s quotes in the Effy 309 recap. And funnily enough, recap-Rin agreed with her suggestion:
